I just wish I knew what the problem was with my PC. I'm just wondering how cheap I can get it. So what I'm left with is trying to get another PC, where I install my capture card there, and use that to capture my footage. However, I can't use it to directly record my PC games. The only way I don't get framerate drops is if I use Avermedia's specialized software, RECentral, to record from my PS5. However, since then I've tried to use other programs and basically all of them result in framerate drops during recording. However, I went back to my old recordings and discovered there were framerate drops there too, I just didn't notice them at the time. It doesn't seem to matter how low I set the recording qualities, I *always* get drops, it doesn't matter how low I set the quality to, though I seem to get lower framerate drops with worse quality obvs. And I have an AVerMedia GC573 Live Gamer 4K recorder.Īnd a little while ago, I posted this thread about having frame drops as I record.
